The Shuford House, built in 1904, is located in the Historic Oakwood district of Hickory and can be rented for weddings, receptions, parties, business meetings and more. The House is rated for up to 115 people; while the adjacent gardens can accommodate hundreds of guests and includes a lovely fountain and pergola.

Other details:
A 25% non-rfundable Event Deposit is due at time of booking. The deposit will be applied to final balance.
Wine and beer are permitted. Any other type of alcohol requires a $50 permit from the state that must be acquired a minimum of 14 days prior to the event.
Outside food and drinks may be brought in by the renter or designated caterer.
The house does not offer dishes, serving utensils, or linens.
There is a $250 cleaning deposit for House Only rentals and $500 cleaning deposit for Weddings. The cleaning deposit is required for all events. This deposit may be returned after a post-event inspection of the property.
